The original starter gears were quite good, but unfortunately, just like the flywheels, they are no longer available from the factory, nor is there an equivalent replacement available on the market. This forced us to act, because here too we need high-quality material in order to be able to install stable clutches. Our gears are made of CrMo-alloyed tempered steel with a strength of 900-1200 N/mm². The teeth are not punched, but milled tooth by tooth. This is more time-consuming to manufacture, but the result is a stable, precise gear rim. The price is nevertheless lower than that of the original, further quality criteria are concentricity, precise guidance and fitting accuracy. Due to our CNC production made in Germany, we can guarantee all these points. The 100% compatibility to the flywheel, no matter if original or one of ours, is guaranteed. |
