As we got a bit sick about capacitors not working, we changed the supplier. But we soon had to find out, that this was the same bad quality as we had before. So we switched over to ordering original Moto Guzzi capacitors. But even there, quality was miserable, capacitors not working or packing up after a short period. Luckily, i have a background as an electronic engineer, knowing of far better parts used in the industry. The problem always was, these parts could not be mounted in the way needed for a bike. So we designed this module, containing both capacitors to be mounted near the distributor or near the ignition coils. |

This module contains two pulse withstanding, high voltage capacitors. It does not have to be mounted near the distributor. It is sufficient to disconnect and/or remove the old capacitors. The module can easily be mouted near the ignition coils. The mounting tab supplies mechanical fastening and ground connection. Please ensure that mounting screw/bolt has ground connection. The remaining two cables are conected to the red and the green wires of the coils. Additional male fast-on connectors for the ignition coils are provided. |
