As we got a bit sick about capacitors not working, we changed the supplier. But we soon had to find out, that this was the same bad quality as we had before. So we switched over to ordering original Moto Guzzi capacitors. But even there, quality was miserable, capacitors not working or packing up after a short period. Luckily, i have a background as an electronic engineer, knowing of far better parts used in the industry. The problem always was, these parts could not be mounted in the way needed for a bike. So we designed this module, containing capacitors to be mounted near the distributor or near the ignition coil. |

This module contains a pulse withstanding, high voltage capacitor. It does not have to be mounted near the distributor. It is sufficient to disconnect and/or remove the old capacitor. The module can easily be mouted near the ignition coil. The mounting tab supplies mechanical fastening and ground connection. Please ensure that mounting screw/bolt has ground connection. The remaining cable is conected to the wire contact breaker. Additional male fast-on connector for the ignition coil is provided. |
